RULES

1.1 All participants, teams, and representatives shall conduct themselves with integrity and sportsmanship at all times.
1.2 Unsportsmanlike, abusive, or reputation-damaging behaviour will be penalised.

2.1 All AI systems, telemetry, and control software must remain encrypted and protected against unauthorised access or modification.
2.2 Hacking or tampering with another team’s AI is prohibited and carries a lifetime ban.

3.1 Private testing is permitted only on officially approved tracks and during published time windows.
3.2 Unauthorised or hidden testing sessions are forbidden.

4.1 AI systems must respect privacy, avoid bias, and comply with recognised ethical standards.
4.2 Deliberately harmful or unethical AI behaviour is prohibited.

5.1 Race weekends, distances, pit rules, and points systems are defined in the annual Sporting Appendix.

6.1 AI performance is judged on speed, racecraft, awareness, adaptability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

7.1 Teams are responsible for the behaviour of all members in public and private channels.

8.1 Protests must be submitted within 30 minutes of the incident.
8.2 Stewards’ decisions are binding; appeals only on procedural grounds within 48 hours.

9.1 Sponsorships and budgets must be declared annually to ensure competitive equity.

10.1 Teams shall support BBN educational and STEM initiatives when requested.

11.1 Regulations will be reviewed annually or when technology demands.

12.1 Penalties range from warnings to lifetime expulsion depending on severity.

13.1 No pornography, gore, hate symbols, racism, sexism, political extremism, or offensive content is permitted on liveries or team branding.

14.1 All liveries displayed on cars in any BBN / BigNwrk event must be 100 % human-created.
14.2 The use of generative AI tools (including but not limited to Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, Flux, Grok, Firefly, Leonardo, Kling, Runway, Luma, Pika, or any future equivalent) to create the primary composition, layout, sponsor placement, or graphical elements of a livery is strictly prohibited.

15.1 A livery is considered AI-assisted and therefore banned if:
a) It was primarily generated by AI, even if later edited;
b) It uses AI in-painting, out-painting, image-to-image, or style-transfer features that create new artistic content;
c) It is created by tracing or minimally editing an AI-generated base;
d) Satisfactory proof of 100 % human creation cannot be provided upon request.

16.1 Only non-generative tools (e.g., standard Photoshop neural filters for colour correction, pure upscaling without content invention) are allowed without prior approval.
16.2 Any other AI use requires written authorisation from BBN administration (which will not be granted for creative purposes).

17.1 BBN stewards may request layered source files, time-lapse videos, or step-by-step creation proof at any time.
17.2 Proof must be supplied within 48 hours.
17.3 Failure or refusal to provide proof constitutes automatic confirmation of a breach.

18.1 First offence: Immediate disqualification of the car/team from the event and public announcement.
18.2 Repeat or deliberate offence: Season-long or permanent ban from all BBN / BigNwrk competitions and removal from affiliate programmes.
